Matt Planker began working with his father, Dan, at a young age in the construction field as a side job on nights and weekends that quickly turned into a full time endeavor.

It was never Matt’s plan to pursue a full-time career in the construction field. He earned a degree as an Airframe and Power Plant Aviation Technician, graduating from Vincennes University at the Indianapolis Airport location in 2004. While he had high hopes of pursuing an additional degree from Purdue or signing on with an airline after graduation, the events of 9/11 significantly impacted the aviation industry, leading Matt back to the field he knew best at DW Planker. As the business grew, Matt and his father, Dan, established a well-known brand in Greenwood and the surrounding areas. In 2022, Matt took over the business with a passion for continuing the family legacy and a commitment to meeting their customers’ needs both now and in the future.
